While many people are looking to showers more and think about the need for a bathtub for resale. It is definitely good for value when putting your home up for sale on the market. Families with young children won’t even consider buying your Southern New Hampshire house for sale if you don’t have a bathtub. While it can always be added most buyers are not looking to renovate, or might not even be able to afford a new tub, right after purchasing a new home.
You may be asking "Do you even need a bathtub for resale?" Some adults may not have any use for a bathtub due to their schedules or preferences, and might even prefer a steam shower with a bench seat over a bathtub. However, seniors and luxury buyers tend to look for a bathtub for relaxation when purchasing a Southern NH home for sale. I think the main consideration to take into account when making your decision will be who will consider purchasing your home for sale when you finally make the decision to sell it. If you live in a 55+ development or a 1 bedroom home you may be just fine. However you need a bathtub for resale if you are selling a house that calls to a larger family.
Sellers need to have the necessities that buyers are looking for when purchasing a Southern New Hampshire house for sale. If you don’t have a bathtub in your home and it appeals to buyers who have young children, seniors or luxury buyers you should consider installing a bathtub if you don’t already have one! You wouldn’t want to rule out a good portion of the market by removing a bathtub that another family might require when they are looking for a home for sale.
Personally we would suggest having at least one bathtub in a home, if it has 2 or more bedrooms but it will always depend on the market where you live. There is some value in a bathtub for resale. Ultimately the decision is yours to make and you should base it on your family’s need but ideally you'll need a bathtub for resale. We would always suggest keeping resale in mind when making home renovation decisions. Even if you think you will never sell your Southern NH home, situations change that force you to make decisions that you may never have thought were possible.

There are several common selling myths that a South Nashua seller may get stuck on. Whether you have developed your own preconceived notions, or you’re stuck on other sales people's misconceptions, believing these myths can hurt your ability to sell your South Nashua house for sale.
Here are 8 selling myths about your South Nashua home for sale that you shouldn’t believe.
Of course the listing price has something to do with the purchase of your South Nashua house for sale. However, it is not the main reason why someone is purchasing it. If the house you are selling is run down and falling apart, and it needs a lot of work, the price wouldn’t be the only factor. What is important in a situation like this is that the buyer has enough money and time to repair the South Nashua home themselves after their purchase. If not, they will move on to a deal that better suits their home needs, regardless of the price.
In many markets, spring tends to be the best one but it doesn't mean that a house can't or won't sell in the winter. In fact, in the market we are currently experiencing winter is an awesome time to sell. The fact is that buyers looking in the winter tend to be more serious buyers. Why would they be out looking at homes in the cold if they weren't? Winter has been good for years now due to low inventory as well. If there are no South Nashua homes for sale that meet your criteria or there is too much competition to win during the spring, winter could actually be the best time to purchase your South Nashua home. You just need a savvy REALTOR® who will be on your side guiding you through the process.
Many buyers are misguided about the South Nashua home buying process by what they hear from other sales people, on TV, and from the internet. Selling myths usually occurs when their real estate agent has failed to earn the buyers trust. Gaining a buyers trust means not pushing them to make a specific buying decision that is not good for them.
The best REALTOR® will focus their attention on your specific needs and your current situation rather than trying to close the deal for their needs. Earning trust means treating people with respect and dignity even if they aren’t prepared to make a buying decision right away in South Nashua.
This might work at the mall when someone is shopping for Christmas gifts, but not just anyone can be persuaded to buy when it comes to purchasing a South Nashua home for sale. Buying a house is a very big deal! It’s one of the biggest, most expensive purchases a person will ever make and buyers don’t usually do it impulsively.
Buyers like to find a home that is perfect for their needs and their family. No matter how well you are at persuading, if the South Nashua home you’re selling isn’t what the buyer wants and it isn’t the right fit for them, you won’t be able to persuade them to buy a house.
Many books have been written about the right ways to do things, and those books are full of selling myths themselves. We all have our own unique personality and what works well for one person may not work as effectively for another person. Everyone is different and when selling a South Nashua home for sale, you may want to think about what a buyer will like and combine it with your ideas so you can really connect with the buyer on their level and appeal to them.
While renovating the entire kitchen may sell your home, it may not bring back the full value of the repair at resale. Going drastic with upgrades is not the best approach either. Many times some basic upgrades like curb appeal, decluttering, updated counters, new knobs and lighting fixtures, and a fresh coat of paint will do just fine.
This is probably one of the worst selling myths I have ever come across. Yes, it is important to move people towards a home buying decision, but it is also important that they are being treated properly. A good REALTOR® will make sure that their buyer is purchasing a South Nashua home for sale that best suits their buyers needs.
Not every sale decision will be made easily, or quickly. A buyer needs to be sure they are doing what is best for them, and at a proper pace that works for their schedule. In certain situations, rushing to make a commitment to buy a South Nashua house might not be in your best interest if your not ready. Knowing the market and your mind, however is key! If you are interested in a home and couldn't imagine yourself without it then you will want to make a decision before anyone else does.
Aggressive and manipulative sales tactics can sometimes work but you don't want the buyer coming back after the sale with complaints that turn into a liability. Also, you wouldn’t want someone to lie or swindle you in order to complete a sale so don’t ask your real estate agent to do that either.
Many sellers feels as if they need to close the deal on any offer they get, and this is not the case. If someone offers you lower than your asking price for your South Nashua home for sale, but your house has just recently been put on the market you may still be able to get more for your home. Talk with your real estate agent, negotiating with the buyer may be a better option. Don’t give up until you discuss all the possible options with the buyers. When selling your South Nashua home for sale you need to be patient and make the best business decision for yourself as a seller.
While it is in fact possible to sell your South Nashua home for sale solo, it is always better to have a professional by your side. Selling your home takes time, knowledge and negotiating skills. Do you really want to worry about negotiating directly with a buyer or showing your house to strangers? If you were going to buy stocks, or had an important legal question, or needed advice on your tax return you would call a professional so it only makes sense that when you decide to sell your South Nashua home that you would call a REALTOR®. You need a middle man to make the decisions less emotional and price your home accurately. It's also a known fact that houses sold with a REALTOR® sell faster and for more money.
Real Estate sales is an honorable career and sales professionals and their sellers need to avoid becoming prey to these selling myths. Be sure to focus your energy to make the best educated decision possible when buying or selling a South Nashua home for sale. The agents here at Harmony Real Estate would be happy to make your buying and selling dreams a reality!

When you are selling your South Nashua home for sale, some simple fixes can be very important to help reel in a buyer. The more appealing your home looks to the eyes, the more likely you will be to get a bite.
Here are a few ideas on how to stage your home when you are selling!
Bathroom
The bathroom is always a big seller for South Nashua buyers. Try to make it look as clean as possible! If the walls are dirty or moldy spray them with a mixture of one part bleach, and one part water. The mold will disappear! Be sure to wipe them down after, and apply a coat of semi-gloss paint to make the walls easier to clean.
Clean all that yucky grime off of your glass shower door. You can start by removing the door and cleaning it with a mixture of ten parts water, and one part muriatic acid. Scrub it, then reattach the door, this will have it sparkling like new in no time! Or better yet get rid of the door and just put up a shower curtain in it's place. This will give your South Nashua home for sale a more modern look.
If your tile is gross and needs to be replaced, don’t spend all your money redoing the bathroom, that would cost a fortune! Simply scrub the tile and then add a coat of sealer to make it more manageable next time.
Buyers like it when they can see every square foot of your bathroom. If you have a big vanity that takes up too much space, replace it with a pedestal sink and a mirror on the wall! Or if you need the storage just get a smaller sink with a few drawers. It will make your bathroom appear larger and will look perfect for your showings!
Kitchen & Dining Room
Nobody wants to eat food in a dirty kitchen, and especially not in a run down dining room. You should always make sure that your kitchen looks nice whether you are selling your South Nashua home or not. Instead of replacing old cabinets, sand them down and add a few nice coats of stain or paint to them. Before you know it they will look brand new, and this will be very appealing to a buyer.
Stainless steel appliances are a new trend that buyers love. Instead of buying a new dishwasher, microwave, or oven, take a trip to your local hardware store and purchase stainless steel stick on covers! They are easy to apply and they look fantastic. First, remove the front panels from the appliances you decide to cover. After that, apply a stainless steel stick on covering, and cut it to size. Your appliances will go from outdated to modern in no time at all!
Who wouldn’t want granite counter tops in the Granite State? They are absolutely gorgeous, and there is a way to get them so much cheaper rather than having to pay a boat load for them. (unless of course you prefer to fully replace them.) There are stick-ons for your countertops too! Visit your local hardware store and choose the one that will match your kitchen the best!
There is a way to make your hardwood floors look more dramatic, and it is so simple! First, find which boards are damaged, cut them out and replace them with new pieces. Use a sander and give the floor a good sanding. Then the last step is to stain the boards with a rich color, and there you go! Beautiful hardwood floors are always a plus with buyers!
Bedroom & Living Room
The living room is also very important to a South Nashua buyer. Typically that is where most people spend their time when they are at home. There is a way to make your hardwood floors look more dramatic, and it is so simple! First, find which boards are damaged, cut them out and replace them with new pieces. Use a sander and give the floor a good sanding. Then the last step is to stain the boards with a rich color, and there you go! Beautiful hardwood floors are a definite buyer plus!
Do you have a fireplace in your South Nashua home for sale? Is it brick or stone? Either way, I’m sure that a little update would help sell your South Nashua home for sale! If you have a stone fireplace wipe it down with a rag and water, and then use some stone polish to make it sparkle like new. If your fireplace is brick, use a rag to rub a thin coat of paint on the bricks. You don't want to cover the bricks completely with paint but give it a more dulled down look, and your fireplace will go from sticking out to standing out in just a few simple steps! Also be sure to replace your old fireplace screen, or just touch it up with a few coats of spray paint to match your room!
When you are selling your South Nashua home for sale, you should make sure that your master bedroom appeals to buyers. Get rid of features that seem too gender-specific, and paint the walls a neutral color. Choose bedding and accessories that match and pull the whole scheme together.
Buyers love built-in bookshelves. There are a lot of people who use bookshelves to store their clutter, but when you are selling you need to use every aspect of your home to the best of its ability. The trick with a bookshelf is to arrange neutral items in clusters, and be sure that none of your accessories stand out too much. This way you'll show off your beautiful built-in bookshelves, but not all your clutter or personal belongings.
Exterior
When you are selling your South Nashua home for sale the first thing a buyer will see is the exterior! Touch up the outside of your South Nashua home for sale by replacing the shutters, painting your house, or replacing any cracked siding. Also, add some color with flowers, be sure your lawn is mowed, your bushes are trimmed, and your walkway and driveway look good by cleaning them and giving them a new coat of tar when necessary. Adding perennial flowers, shrubs, small trees and plants may also help to spice up the outside of your South Nashua home for sale. You want it to look it beautiful for your showings as well as for buyers driving by your neighborhood. You never know when a potential buyer may pass by and fall in love with your South Nashua home for sale.

A seller’s agent is a real estate agent that exclusively represents the seller of a house for sale in a real estate transaction. There is a contract between the property owner (otherwise known as the seller) and a real estate agent (also known as the seller’s agent) agreeing to sell your South Hudson home for sale. The contract requires the real estate agent to perform exclusive confidential duties for the seller such as researching recent selling prices for comparable properties in South Hudson NH, showing the property, marketing the property, and advising the seller on the best offers received for the listing. A Hudson seller’s agent must hold an active license in the State of New Hampshire under the New Hampshire Real Estate Commission. They may also be referred to as a listing agent.
A real estate agent is expected to make the home selling or buying process easier for you. Here are some things you should expect from a seller’s agent.
Price Your Hudson Home Right
Pricing your South Hudson NH home for sale properly is very important when you are a seller’s agent. An exceptional agent will price a home using their knowledge, training, and understanding of the market and comparable sales in the surrounding area. Knowing how to price a home for sale is one of the many valuable skills a REALTOR® can give you as the seller. If you are a smart seller, you will find an agent that will price your home based on the selling price of other similar homes that have recently sold in South Hudson.
If you have updated your home, then it will most likely be priced for more than you bought it for but it all depends on the current market. Currently, we are in a seller’s market and prices are rising yearly. As a seller, you should be aware that pricing your South Hudson home for sale to high can cause problems with the sale. If your Hudson home for sale is priced too high, buyers will most likely look elsewhere.
Communication is Key
A well-trained Hudson sellers agent must communicate properly with the seller. You need to know what’s going on with the sale of your South Hudson NH home. There are too many real estate agents that will only check in when they receive an offer, and that is not proper etiquette as an real estate agent. Real estate agents should always keep in touch with their sellers, especially after a showing so they can give any feedback, or discuss any concerns with you about your South Hudson home for sale.
Even if there aren’t any offers on your home, it is still comforting for your agent to keep in touch so you know you are getting what you’re paying good money for!
Verify Buyer Qualifications
Anyone can say that they are interested in purchasing a Hudson home for sale, but not everyone can get a pre-approval for a home loan. A good sellers agent will be sure that anyone making an offer on your home is qualified, and pre-approved for a home loan, and if not they will kindly decline their offer until they provide proof.
There is a very big difference between a mortgage pre-qualification and a pre-approval. A pre-qualification means that they are qualified, but that doesn’t mean that they will be approved for the loan. A pre-approval means that the lender checked the buyers credit report, as well as their employment, and their income, which are key factors in getting a loan commitment. Loan commitment is the step just before closing, it means that the bank is agreeing to lend the buyer the money for their South Hudson home purchase.
Negotiate for You
Your seller’s agent should always negotiate and work their hardest for the best terms and conditions of the seller. When you hire an agent who isn't worried about when their next sale takes place, you will get much better advice, and a much better outcome. REALTORS® who advocate for their clients are always striving for the best possible terms for the transaction and their client.
Everything in a real estate contract is negotiable, and a good Hudson seller's agent won't hesitate to take an offer for your South Hudson home for sale that will make you happy. If you want the sale of your South Hudson home to be closed at a certain time, they have the negotiation skills to make that happen. It’s best to negotiate this all at the onset to make sure everyone will be on the same page for closing. A good agent will understand the importance of getting things done on time and in an orderly fashion for you, their seller.
Attend the Home Inspection
A seller's agent should attend the home inspection to be sure that they can properly represent you properly. This is why you are paying a REALTOR®, to make things easier for you when selling your South Hudson home for sale. Although you may not expect them to attend the home inspection, they should do it regardless. Your agent can keep track of everything that the inspector states about the home, as well as see anything they may find wrong.
This will also help your sellers agent to protect you from any unreasonable requests, and help them to hear everything first hand. Some buyers may try to exaggerate about everything in hopes that you will make any repairs needed, or that they will be able to purchase your South Hudson home cheaper than the listed price. Home inspections often become the second time where more negotiations are made on your South Hudson home for sale.
Finalize Loose Ends
Selling a Hudson home for sale involves a lot of work. Your REALTOR® must be on top of everything. There are many small details that must be taken care of which is a big selling point for their services. As you get closer and closer to closing your Hudson home for sale, your real estate agent needs to relieve your stress and take care of all the loose ends for you. The less work you have to do, the more appealing your REALTOR® will be. Then you will be more likely to recommend their services to others seeking a real estate agent to help them sell or buy a South Hudson home.
If you are looking to buy or sell a home in South Hudson or in the surrounding area give us a call. The agents at Harmony Real Estate will keep your best interests in mind.
A short sale is a sale of Real Estate in which the net proceeds from selling your Hudson home for sale will fall short of the debts you owe to your lender for your mortgage. In this case, if all lien holders agree to accept less than the amount owed on the debt, a sale of your South Hudson NH home for sale can be made.
When you sell your South Hudson home as a short sale, it’s similar to other sales you just have to involve the bank’s decision as well. You should contact a REALTOR®, specifically one who specializes in short sales. You will need to list your Hudson home for sale being sure to mention that it's a “short sale,” then wait for an offer to come in. Once you accept an offer, things can get tricky. You will need to gather all of your financial documents to send to your mortgage company and see if they will consider the short sale. Since lenders lose money with short sales, they're usually not very eager to agree with it but that’s where your REALTOR and a short sale negotiator come into play working in your best interest. Some banks may prefer to foreclose on your Hudson home but many times they will consider the short sale if there is good reason.
There are many Pro’s and Con’s to a short sale, but again a real estate agent can help you decide whether you should short sale, or what your other options are. If you do short sale your home, make sure your loan will be considered paid in full. A short sale will have a much smaller effect on your credit than a foreclosure. This will help you in the long run if you ever try to take out another loan or mortgage. Avoiding foreclosure, means you may be able to buy another home sooner than you would be able to if your home was foreclosed on.
However, there are also some disadvantages to a short sale. You will have to take full responsibility for the sale of you home, which can be very stressful and time consuming. Also, if someone purchases your home faster than you expected, you may have to move sooner than you had originally planned. This means that you will now need to find yourself somewhere else to move to as quickly as possible. This may be very difficult for you considering there will be no proceeds from the short sale of your South Hudson home.
If you are having a hard time making the decision of whether or not a short sale is your best option, talk to a Real Estate Attorney, or a REALTOR® to figure out the best plan of action. They can help guide you in the right direction. Be sure you don’t forget to talk to you lender as well. Your lender likely has specialized loan officers who are capable of reviewing and guiding customers who are at risk of foreclosure.
Call Harmony Real Estate at (603) 883-8840 and speak to the top REALTORS® in Southern New Hampshire if you need advice on whether or not to short sale your South Hudson home! We will work in your best interest and help you on this stressful journey in your life.
At Harmony Real Estate, our experienced agents can walk you through your options and help you understand which one is best for your situation. We want you to feel supported and informed, so you can protect your future and find peace of mind.
The choice to short sale your home is never easy. It means accepting that you can no longer keep up with your mortgage payments, even when you have valid reasons. Many homeowners face hardship due to job loss, divorce, sudden medical issues, disability, condo rule changes, or even fraud. No matter the reason, your situation deserves compassion and careful guidance.
A short sale on a Southern New Hampshire home may offer relief because it does not harm your credit as much as a foreclosure. It may also help you get into another home sooner. When a short sale is approved, you may avoid the long term damage of a foreclosure on your credit record. This can give you a fresh start and a path toward financial recovery.
Before you decide, take time to explore every possible option. You should not rush or make a quick decision when your home is at stake.
Some homeowners consider bankruptcy to delay foreclosure, especially if they can still afford their mortgage but not their other bills. Others talk to their bank to request adjusted payment terms. Lenders sometimes offer different programs, reduced payments, or temporary relief.
However, when you owe more on your home than the current market value and none of the other options work, then a short sale may be the most effective way to sell your Southern NH home. The choice depends on your long term goals and your financial reality.
Not every real estate agent has the skill or experience to guide you through a short sale. Make sure you choose a REALTOR with real short sale experience. Ask about their past work and their success rate, and make sure you feel comfortable with their knowledge. A skilled agent will negotiate with the bank and work hard to protect your best interests.
The short sale process for a Southern NH Home for sale can be slow. Most short sales take three to six months and sometimes longer. The timeline depends on your lender and the condition of your home. Because this process is unique, patience is important. You should also speak with a tax advisor since tax rules change from year to year and can impact your final decision.
Selling a home is always emotional, but a short sale can feel even more stressful. You will need to share detailed financial paperwork so the lender can review your situation. This can feel personal, and many homeowners worry about judgment or pressure. A caring REALTOR can make the process easier and help you understand what to expect.
Lean on your support system if you can. Friends and family can offer emotional support during this time. Remember that a short sale is not the end of your homeownership journey. It is simply a temporary situation. Many people buy a home again after a short sale once their finances have recovered.
You don't need to carry the stress alone. The question Should you short sale your home is important, and you deserve guidance that is honest and supportive. Our team at Harmony Real Estate is here to help you understand your best options and create a plan that works for your life.
Call Harmony Real Estate at (603) 883-8840 to talk with a trusted REALTOR who knows the short sale process and the Southern NH real estate market. Our agents can help you make the decision that protects your future and supports your goals.
Here is what you should do if you have mold in your South Nashua home.
The first step is to test for mold
This is something that no homeowner wants to hear, but if you suspect you have mold in your home, you need to test it to be sure of what kind of mold it is. Mold testing can be very expensive, but if you are deeply suspicious of what's in your walls, it is worth it. You could also buy a kit to test for mold yourself but they have a reputation for being unreliable, so getting an expert to take a look at your South Nashua home for sale is in your best interest.
What to do if you find mold
If mold is found in your South Nashua home, don’t panic just yet. Every home has mold in it, but some homes are worse than others. If it is a small area less than 10 square feet, you could try to remove it yourself. Although, this isn’t the best idea, it is possible. Be sure to wear gloves, and a face mask, and goggles in a well ventilated room if you are going to try to tackle the removal yourself with chemicals. If it is to big of an area for you to clean yourself, or you just don’t have the time, make sure to call a professional. You are always better safe than sorry!
Stay Vigilant
Even if you aren’t aware of any toxic mold in your home, always keep an eye out for it. Keeping mold away from your South Nashua homes comes down to simple maintenance. If you have any dampness in your South Nashua home, it is possible that there will be mold. Be sure to look in any dark, damp places.
These are some simple ways to keep mold away from your South Nashua home for sale:
Caulk around water fixtures
Sinks and bathtubs all have signs of mold. Be sure you caulk around the faucets in your sink, and your shower in your kitchen, bathroom, or any other rooms. Make sure to clean out any discolored caulking to make sure it doesn’t turn into another problem.
Clean your gutters
You were planning to do this anyhow, right? Well, here is your chance to get it accomplished! Water pooling in your gutters due to a clog can leak into your walls causing mold to grow in them. Make sure to clean out any gutters that can cause this problem before it starts.
Check your windows
Make sure there are no leaks from your windows. You can caulk around the outside of your windows to prevent water coming in after a lot of rain, or snow. The spring is usually the best time to do this when the weather starts to get warmer, and the snow starts melting.
Take care of your roof
Is your roof leaking? If your roof is leaking, you would notice that of course! However, you might not go in the attic often. Make sure to check the attic periodically, especially after it rains heavily to see if you have any leaks in your South Nashua roof. If you do be sure to get it taken care of right away to prevent mold from growing. This is the typical place where mold will start and home owners are not aware so make sure to take a peak in your South Nashua attic from time to time.
Check the crawl space
Do you have a crawl space under your home? Just like the attic, the crawl space is not a common place you go. Be sure to get under the house from time to time to check and see if there is any water collecting there. If there is, you need to be sure to drain it, as water pooling under your house won't only lead to mold, but structural problems as well. And neither are a good problem to have in your South Nashua home for sale.
With all that you have learned from this article, you will know exactly what to do if you find or suspect mold in your home! We can give you some insight on what you might need to do or give you the name of a professional to call to address it.

Here are some great tips on how you can get rid of squirrels from your South Hudson home for sale on your own, without having to break your bank!
Block Their Entrance
Find out where the squirrels are entering into your South Hudson home’s attic and cover any holes so no more squirrels can get in, except for one so they can use it to exit your home. Cover your chimney with wire mesh if you have one so no more squirrels can get in. Also be sure to secure any openings from your attic to the rest of your South Hudson home so any panic stricken squirrels don’t try to flee into the rest of your home.
You want to make sure every possible entry point is blocked so they don’t regain entry once you have them out!
Create An Exit
Create a funnel out of metal or wire mesh and be sure the funnel is about 1 foot long, an about a foot wide. Attach the wide end of the funnel to the hole on the outside of your South Hudson’s home. Usually if the animal can leave out of the small hole, they will be able to re-enter as well, so just be careful. Try placing some food such as apple slices or peanuts at the hole of the opening to draw the squirrels out, or just wait for them to leave on their own to gather food.
Once they are out make sure to board up the hole or put mesh on it so that can’t regain entry.
Trapping Squirrels
You can usually find a trap at your local hardware store. When purchasing a trap for a squirrel please keep in mind that in a larger cage the squirrel may begin to panic and harm themselves. Usually a cage that is 6 inches, by 6 inches, by 18 inches will be perfect for a small animal like a squirrel. Read the directions that come with the trap and be sure you know how to set it properly!
Put some food in the cage that appeals to a squirrel such as peanut butter, apple slices, peanuts, soda crackers, or pieces of bread crust otherwise the squirrels may not even go near the trap. Make sure the food is placed far enough inside the cage so the animal can’t grab it through the sides.
Set it up, and wait for the trap to work its magic.
Catch, then Release
Once you have trapped the squirrel, you will need to release it. But first, be sure to check your South Hudson attic for baby squirrels. The babies will be helpless without their mother, and you will need to relocate them with her so they don’t die. The best thing for you to do is relocate them far away from your South Hudson’s home for sale in a wooded area where they can hopefully find their new home in a tree, rather than inside your attic.
Make sure you wear thick heavy gloves when you are releasing the squirrel from the trap. If the squirrel is angry, you wouldn’t want to get bit, or attacked. You can also use a string or rope to open the cage from a distance.
Make sure they don't come back
Be sure to keep the trap filled with food in your South Hudson attic for a few weeks longer to be sure all the squirrels have left your home. Patch up the holes in your home as well so they can’t try to re-enter. Try leaving your attic light on, or purchase some squirrel repellent from the store, rags soaked in household ammonia work too. Also, leaving a radio on in your attic, or purchasing an ultrasonic repellent may work for you as well.
